Pune, April 4 -- Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1degC or more) at isolated places over Haryana, Delhi; appreciably above normal (3.1degC to 5.0degC) at a few places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh; at isolated places over Punjab, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal
The day temperatures were above normal (1.6degC to 3.0degC) at most places over Uttarakhand; at many places over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal, Gujarat region; at isolated places over east Rajasthan.
