Pune, June 9 -- Day temperatures were markedly above normal ( > 5.1degC) at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh; at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, east Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
The temperatures were above normal (3.1degC to 5.0degC) at many places over Punjab; at most places over west Rajasthan; at a few places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar and east Uttar Pradesh; at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and Kerala and Mahe;
