Pune, April 20 -- Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1degC to 5.0degC) at many places over Gangetic West Bengal; at isolated pockets over east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar; above normal (1.6degC to 3.0degC) at many places over, east Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand; at a few places over Kerala and Mahe, south interior Karnataka, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada; at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, east Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
