London, Oct. 12 -- Acclaimed producer David Heyman, renowned for his orchestration of global phenomena such as Harry Potter and Paddington, has expressed both excitement and gravitas as he prepares to guide the James Bond franchise.

Appearing on the red carpet at the London Film Festival for the premiere of his latest collaboration with Amy Pascal, titled Jay Kelly, Heyman described the forthcoming 007 venture as "a creative odyssey".

"It's going to be a lot of fun, and I think we're going to make something very special," Heyman told the BBC.

Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson agreed earlier this year to sell creative control to Amazon - reportedly for USD 1bn (£760m).
