Dubai, Feb. 28 -- Daryl Mitchell has won the ICC Men's Player of the Month for January 2026 after leading New Zealand to an ODI series win over India with back-to-back centuries.
The Black Caps player beat India's T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav and star England batter Joe Root to the honour.
In the three-match ODI series in India in January, New Zealand overturned a 0-1 deficit to claim a 2-1 victory.
Mitchell led the fightback with an unbeaten 131 in the second match and followed it up with a towering 137 in the third to lift his team to a match-winning total of 337/8.
