Kozhikode, Feb. 27 -- The District Anti-Narcotic Special Action Force (DANSAF) and Town Police arrested two tourist bus drivers, suspected of being drug peddlers, and seized 31.7 grams of methylenedioxy methamphetamine (MDMA) narcotic drugs on Thursday.
According to police, they arrested P Aneesh (44) of Kovur in Kozhikode and P Sanal Kumar (45) of Vallakadavu in Thiruvananthapuram district.
Two bus drivers, who were engaged in retail sales in Kozhikode district through a mobile application and had been under surveillance by the Kozhikode City Narcotic Cell Assistant Commissioner K A Bose-led DANSAF team for the last two months.
