Dharamshala, Dec. 10 -- The Tibetan government-in-exile on Wednesday celebrated the 36th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize being awarded to the 14th Dalai Lama, coinciding with the 77th International Human Rights Day. A grand ceremony was held at Thekchen Choeling Tsuglakhang in this regard.
Around two thousand Tibetans- including officials of the Central Tibetan Administration, members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, monks, nuns, and students gathered at the main Tibetan temple here in the hill town of Dharamshala.
Delegations from the Czech Republic, Australia, France, Chile, New Zealand and Fiji attended the event and addressed the gathering, expressing solidarity with the Tibetan cause and urging China to resume dialogue.
