Washington, Dec. 16 -- Dakota Johnson made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend, joining Lily Allen during the singer's musical guest performance, according to People.
The latest episode of SNL season 51 aired with Josh O'Connor as host and Allen as the musical guest. During the show, Allen performed "Madeline" from her recent album West End Girl.
The song tells the story of a woman confronting another woman who had an affair with her husband.
As Allen sang from the side of the stage, Johnson, 36, was hidden behind a sheer curtain. Near the end of the performance, she stepped forward, revealing herself to the audience and joining Allen at center stage.
