Daily yoga must be made mandatory in schools: Horatti
Bengaluru, June 21 -- Basavaraj Horatti, Chairman of the Karnataka Legislative Council, on Saturday advocated for the daily practice of yoga in schools, urging the government to make it a compulsory part of the curriculum in primary and secondary education.
Speaking at the international yoga Day celebrations here, Horatti said, "We are blessed to have this opportunity to speak. Our goal today is not just to do yoga and leave-it must become a way of life. I have already initiated steps to make yoga compulsory in education."
