Chennai, May 30 -- The father-son duo crisis in the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK),
a Vanniyar dominated outfit, seemed to have reached a point of no return with
Dr Anbumani asserting he was the President and annulled the sacking of Party
Treasurer Ms Thilagabama by PMK Founder Dr S Ramadoss and announced that
she will continue in the post.
Within minutes after the senior Ramadoss removed her and appointed Mansoor Hussain
as the new Treasurer, his son and former Union Minister Dr Anbumani, now a Rajya Sabha
MP, in an open revolt again, cancelled it and announced--as President of the PMK--that she
would continue in the post.
