Sircilla, Jan. 12 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Monday alleged that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced one Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees out of compulsion and not out of concern for their welfare.

Addressing a meeting after inaugurating the BJP flag at Shantinagar in Sircilla, Bandi Sanjay said the state government had already failed to pay five pending DAs and that with the latest delay, six DAs were now due.

He said keeping so many DAs pending reflected the state's poor financial condition and warned that the government could face legal trouble if employees approached the courts. "Knowing this, one DA was announced to escape that situation," he alleged.
