Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 10 -- A statewide special drive conducted under Operation D-Hunt led to the arrest of 156 individuals for possession and sale of narcotic substances.

As part of the coordinated crackdown, the Kerala Police inspected 1,700 suspected persons across Kerala and registered 144 cases related to drug possession.

The operation held on November 8 resulted in the seizure of multiple banned narcotics, including 0.2018 kg of MDMA, 0.2831 kg of ganja, and 96 ganja-rolled beedis.

Operation D-Hunt was carried out across the state to identify and take strict legal action against those involved in the storage and distribution of illegal drugs.
