Kochi, March 28 -- The 'Great Indian Coastal Cyclothon,' organised by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), aiming to create awareness about national security in coastal areas by highlighting threats including smuggling, drug trafficking, arms trafficking and use of explosives, will reach here on Saturday..

The cyclothon has been organised for bringing national security and the extraordinary challenges faced by coastal areas to the people under the theme of "Secure Shores, Prosperous India," an official release said.

CISF cyclists will be involved in paying homage to the families of freedom fighters on the roadsides and interacting with local fishermen.
