Chennai, Nov. 30 -- The Cyclonic Storm Ditwah moves further closer to Chennai coastand now lying about 150 km from the city, even as Met office said it would weaken intoa Deep Depression in the next three hours.
In a latest update this evening, the Met office said the *Cyclonic Storm Ditwah oversouthwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts movednorthwards with the speed of five kmph during the past six hours and lay centered at1430 hrs today, over the same region.
It lay centred about 90 km east-southeast of Cuddalore (India), 120 km northeast ofKaraikal (Puducherry), 90 km east-southeast of Puducherry, 170 km north-northeastof Vedaranniyam (Tamil Nadu) and 150 km south-southeast of Chennai.
