Amaravati, June 15 -- The Meteorological Centre here on Sunday reported that the cyclonic circulation over the west central Bay of Bengal, off the north coastal Andhra Pradesh coast at
5.8 km above mean sea level, has now merged with another existing cyclonic system.
According to the daily weather report, the cyclonic circulation over south Bangladesh and adjoining north Bay of Bengal now lies over the northwest Bay of Bengal and its surrounding areas, between 3.1 km and 7.6 km above mean sea level, tilting southwestwards with height.
Additionally, a trough extends from east Madhya Pradesh to Bangladesh, passing through Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal, up to 1.5 km above mean sea level,
also tilting southwestwards.
