Amaravati, Sept. 30 -- The upper air cyclonic circulation over north coastal Andhra Pradesh and its neighbourhood has now shifted to the west-central Bay of Bengal, off the north Andhra coast, between 3.1 km and 7.6 km above mean sea level, tilting southwards with height.

According to the Meteorological Centre here today, an upper air cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge over the north Andaman Sea today (September 30). Under its influence, a low-pressure area is expected to form over central parts of the Bay of Bengal around October one.
