Bhubaneswar, Oct. 28 -- Odisha is fully prepared to tackle Cyclone Montha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said today, directing officials to ensure zero casualties through timely evacuation and effective coordination.
Although the cyclone is expected to make landfall along the Andhra Pradesh coast, heavy rainfall and strong winds are likely to impact several districts in southern Odisha.
Majhi instructed officials that no one should remain in vulnerable areas and that all residents must be shifted to cyclone or flood shelters or other safe locations.
