Lucknow, Oct. 29 -- Unseasonal rainfall continued to lash several districts of Uttar Pradesh under the influence of cyclonic storm Montha, which remains active over the Bay of Bengal, officials from the Meteorological Department said today.
The IMD has predicted rain and thunderstorms at isolated locations in eastern Uttar Pradesh, noting that the ongoing showers have caused a sharp dip in day temperatures across most parts of the state, with readings staying below thirty degrees Celsius in nearly all observatories.
Etawah recorded the lowest maximum temperature at 20 degree Celsius, followed by Hardoi at twenty-one degrees Celsius both nearly ten degrees below normal.
