Amaravati, Nov. 28 -- Cyclonic Storm Ditwah (pronounced Dit-wah), currently positioned over coastal Sri Lanka and the adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal, is expected to track north-northwest towards the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry-South Andhra Pradesh coastline, bringing heavy to extremely heavy rainfall from November 29 to December 1.

The Meteorological Centre, in its bulletin on Friday, cautioned that coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema are likely to experience significant weather impact during this period.
