Hyderabad, Sept. 20 -- Cyberabad Police today destroyed 1,858 kilograms of narcotic substances valued at Rs 25,30,18,535 through incineration.
The disposal was carried out under the provisions of the NDPS Act as part of Phase-VII of the drive against narcotics.
As per the instructions of Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty, IPS, the Drug Disposal Committee led by A Muthyam Reddy, DCP (Crimes), supervised the destruction at M/s GJ Multiclave (India) Private Limited., Edulapalle village, Nandigama mandal, Ranga Reddy district. The process was conducted in compliance with environmental pollution control rules.
