Ranchi, Sept. 26 -- Jharkhand CID's Cyber Crime Unit has arrested 19-year-old Yashvardhan Kumar from Deoghar for his alleged involvement in an online trading fraud.

The accused, a resident of Bihar's Gaya district, was currently residing in Deoghar.

According to police, the accused used a fake trading app named Cantilion to deceive numerous people into investing money under the pretext of high returns.

The cyber team has seized his mobile phone, two SIM cards, WhatsApp chat records, and bank account documents.

A complaint was lodged on August 23, 2025, under FIR No. 95/25, following which the investigation revealed that victims were lured into investing through WhatsApp with promises of huge profits.
