Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 31 -- In a sweeping action to curb cyber-enabled financial offences and dismantle organised fraud networks, the Kerala Police arrested 263 individuals and registered 382 cases across the state as part of Operation 'CY HUNT', launched on the instructions of State Police Chief Ravada Azad Chandrasekhar.

The coordinated raids were conducted across all police station limits in Kerala. During the operation, 125 individuals were served notices and placed under surveillance.

Those under surveillance include bank account holders whose accounts were allegedly misused for cyber fraud without their knowledge, individuals who received or transferred money through hawala or suspicious transactions, and persons found with indir...
