Patna, Sept. 25 -- Accusing the Narendra Modi government of causing the collapse of India's foreign policy, the Congress Working Committee (CWC) today alleged that the country's strategic autonomy is now being squandered, as the government mindlessly oscillates between appeasing the United States and tilting towards China.
The resolution, adopted at the CWC meeting held earlier in the day at Sadaqat Ashram, expressed concern over India's foreign policy. It stated that former U.S. President Donald Trump continues to claim he used trade as a bargaining chip to coerce India into abruptly halting Operation Sindoor, a claim the Modi government has refused to address with honesty, it said.
