Patna, Sept. 24 -- The Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting is being held in Patna for the first time since 1940.
AICC In-charge of Bihar affairs, Krishna Allavaru, said here today that the CWC meeting would deliberate on issues related to Bihar in addition to national matters. He stated that the Congress was fighting a "second war of independence" in Bihar, adding that Sadaqat Ashram, which played a pivotal role in the fight against the British, would once again become the center of this movement.
"Bihar is in focus because of the upcoming Assembly election," he asserted, adding that apart from political and alliance-related matters, people-centric issues would also be discussed in the meeting.
