Patna, Sept. 24 -- The meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), the top decision-making body of the party, began today to discuss the national political scenario and strategize for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, chief ministers of Congress-ruled states, AICC General Secretary K. C. Venugopal, former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh, and former union ministers Sushil Kumar Shinde and Salman Khurshid are among the top leaders attending the meeting.

The CWC will discuss the national political scenario and finalize the party's strategy for the Bihar Assembly elections.
