Hyderabad, Dec. 11 -- Promotional events for the upcoming Hyderabad International Short Film Festival (HISFF), organised by the Telangana Film Development Corporation, began on Thursday with a formal curtain-raiser held at the Tourism Plaza.
Tourism Development Corporation MD Vallur Kranthi and Film Development Corporation MD Priyanka jointly launched the event and released promotional balloons at the Tourism Bhavan.
As part of the curtain-raiser, promos of more than 700 short films received from across India and several countries in Europe and America were screened. Officials said the overwhelming international response has elevated HISFF into a truly global platform.
