Ranchi, May 4 -- A student of the Central University of Jharkhand was found dead in a rented accommodation in Ranchi on Monday, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Saket Kumar, a resident of Aurangabad district in Bihar, who was pursuing BTech in computer science at the university.
Police said the body was recovered from a room in Tilta Hanuman Nagar under Ratu police station limits.
A police team reached the spot after receiving information and sent the body for postmortem examination.
During the investigation, a note was recovered from the room, in which the student mentioned personal issues, police said.
Officials said the exact cause of death is being ascertained and further investigation is underway.
