Dharamshala, Oct. 16 -- The Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) is set to develop specialized "Disaster Response Kits" for emergency situations, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal announced while inaugurating a three-day international workshop on "Disaster Mitigation and Strategies: From Risk to Resilience and Strengthening Preparedness against Natural and Anthropogenic Disasters" at The D Abode Chola, Dharamshala, on Wednesday.

The workshop is being jointly organized by CUHP and the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kangra, in collaboration with Aston University (UK) and National Dong Hwa University (Taiwan).
