Thiruvananthapuram, July 26 -- The national conclave on 'Emerging Trends in Bio-manufacturing and Healthcare - 2025,' organised by CSIR-NIIST, called for science-based solutions to address healthcare challenges in both urban and rural India.
It also emphasised the need to define genetic health standards tailored to the Indian population to enable personalised therapies.
The event brought together scientists, industry experts, researchers, and students to explore advancements in bio-manufacturing, sustainable healthcare, and the bio-economy.
The conclave was inaugurated by Dr. Vinay K. Nandicoori, Director of CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CSIR-CCMB), Hyderabad.
