Hyderabad, Aug. 6 -- Dr Rambabu Chegondi, Principal Scientist at the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT), Hyderabad, has been awarded the prestigious Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) Bronze Medal for 2026 for his significant contributions to Asymmetric Catalysis in Organic Chemistry.
Instituted in 1999, the CRSI Bronze Medal recognizes young researchers who have made outstanding contributions in any branch of chemistry. Awardees are selected through a rigorous nomination process involving eminent scientists.
