Shimla, March 31 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta on Tuesday alleged that two former Chief Secretaries Parbodh Sexsena and R D Dhiman along with former HPSEB chairman Sunil grover are orchestrating a "malicious campaign" against him in the backdrop of the Chester Hills controversy.
In a statement to the media, Gupta said attempts are being made to tarnish his image despite his holding the top bureaucratic post on merit. He asserted that he had no role in granting any No Objection Certificate (NOC) to builders and that all actions performed by him were in his capacity as a presiding officer of a quasi-judicial authority.
