Shahjahanpur, Jan. 7 -- Shahjahanpur witnessed a sensational development after a road accident on Tuesday evening led to the recovery of suspected crystal methamphetamine from a car belonging to Farman Raza, son of Bareilly violence accused Maulana Tauqeer Raza.
The incident occurred around 7:30 pm on the Lucknow-Delhi National Highway in the Tilhar police station area, police said on Wednesday. Farman Raza, a resident of the Kotwali area in Bareilly, was travelling towards Bareilly when his car rammed into a stationary Uttar Pradesh Roadways bus from the Sitapur depot. The bus was parked near the Kachhiyani Kheda Hanuman Temple, as the driver had gone inside to offer prayers.
