Imphal, Oct. 3 -- In a major breakthrough against cross-border militancy, Security Forces have arrested the self-styled Commander-in-Chief of the Chin Kuki Mizo Army (CKMA), a banned outfit, from Churachandpur district.
The accused, identified as Paokholen Guite of P. Mongjang village, was apprehended from S. Munuam under Churachandpur Police Station .
Guite was allegedly involved in trafficking arms and narcotics across the India-Myanmar border for non-Suspension of Operation (SoO) groups, including the UKNA.
He was also linked to a series of extortion activities in the region.
