Jalgaon, May 8 -- Maharashtra Minister Gulabrao Patil on Thursday inspected the hailstorm, windstorm and unseasonal rains affected areas in Jalgaon district and assured that no affected farmer will be deprived of help.
Due to unseasonal rains, alongside windstorm and hailstorm crops on about 7,235 hectares have been damaged in the district, he said.
Patil, the District Guardian Minister, directly interacted with the farmers and reassured them. He ordered the administration to mmediately conduct a panchnama and start the process of government assistance.
He appealed to the farmers to submit a 'No Objection Certificate' by clearly mentioning the group number-wise assistance eligibility in the panchnama. He said that out of the assistanc...
