Critical Care Unit being set up in Andhra's Bhimavaram hospital: Union Minister

Bhimavaram (Andhra), March 28 -- Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries, Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma on Friday said a Critical Care ICU is being established in the Government General hospital here at a cost of Rs 23.75 crore.

Addressing a press conference, the Union Minister said under the PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, Rs 23.75 crore was sanctioned for the establishment of a Critical Care ICU in the GGH.

"The foundation stone for the setting up Critical Care ICU in the GGH will be laid in April and works will be completed expeditiously. The Critical Care ICU will be provided with 50 beds. The Critical Care ICU will be very useful to the people of the district," the Union Minister asserted.
