Chandigarh, Dec. 2 -- Chandigarh witnessed a dramatic shooting incident today evening when three assailants in a car chased down a young man and allegedly opened fire on him in Sector-26's Timber Market area.
According to preliminary police findings, the attackers had been following the victim's vehicle for several minutes. After overtaking his car, they blocked his path and immediately fired multiple rounds. At least one bullet struck the victim in the chest before the suspects fled the scene at high speed.
The injured man, identified as Inderpreet Singh alias Perry, a resident of Sector-33, was rushed to PGI in critical condition. Police officials confirmed that Inderpreet has a criminal background, with around a dozen cases registered ...
