Puducherry, March 21 -- Police on Thursday arrested an eleven member criminal gang who were preparing for a decoity and robbery in Puducherry.
Senior Superintendent of Police Apoorva Gupta in a release said that on a tip off a police team intercepted the gang on March 19 when they could catch only three -Sekhar,Venkatesan and Gowthaman-.arms and motor cycles were seized from their possession.
On interrogation,they revealed that they were preparing to rob local business men for money to meet out the expenses of their pending cases in Puducherry courts.They also confessed that they conspired to kill the prime accused persons in the Murali murder case who came out on bail.
