Agartala, June 2 -- Tripura has recorded a 10 per cent drop in the crime rate in five months of this year, attributing the decline to enhanced efforts in crime prevention and policing reforms, said Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag on Monday.
He took charge of DGP around 10 days ago and started visiting the districts and different units of the state police, followed by interaction with the rank and file of the police for better policing and better management of the law and order situation.
