Agartala, Feb. 25 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday said that the crime rates in 2025 had decreased by 8.20 percent compared to the previous year, with registered cases dropping from 4,033 to 3,698, while addressing Police Week parade here.
Dr Saha also highlighted an 8.1 percent reduction in crimes against women in 2025 and emphasized the establishment of 24/7 women's help desks in all police stations, as well as the presence of nine all-women police stations across different districts to enhance women's safety.
