Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 28 -- The Crime Branch has registered a case against Palakkad MLA Rahul Mankootathil and launched an investigation into allegations of harassment and intimidation of women through social media and phone calls.
According to complaints, the MLA allegedly stalked women online without their consent, causing mental distress, and sent coercive messages pressuring them into abortions. He is also accused of making threatening phone calls.
