New Delhi, Dec. 4 -- Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested two declared proclaimed offenders in multiple states in connection with a major oil theft case from the HPCL pipeline in Jaipur, an official said on Thursday.
According to the police, the accused have been identified as Swarn Singh (55) and Dharmender alias Rinku (50), an official said, adding that each accused carried a reward of Rs 25,000 for their capture.
The duo was taken into custody near Vikaspuri Nagar Nala, Delhi, following months of surveillance by the Anti-Gangster Squad (AGS), led by Inspector Krishan Kumar.
"Persistent efforts, including manual intelligence and technical surveillance across several states, led to their arrest," they said.
