New Delhi, Feb. 28 -- Delhi Police has arrested a 36-year-old man from New Rajendra Nagar in connection with a high-profile cheating and fraud case involving Rs 1.37 crore and USD 80,000, an officer said on Saturday.

According to the police, the accused has been identified as Mohsin Mohammed.

The accused allegedly lured victims with promises of profits from a fake meat export business operating internationally, including in Dubai.

"The case was registered under FIR at the Crime Branch following a complaint by Arjun Arora, who claimed that Mohammed induced him to invest large sums by portraying himself as a prominent meat exporter," said Vikram Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime).
