New Delhi, Dec. 14 -- Crime Branch has arrested a 41-year-old woman who had been absconding since 11 years for her alleged involvement in a brutal 2014 murder case, police said on Sunday.
Preeti's arrest brings closure to a long-pending investigation that began following a deadly altercation in Mitraon, New Delhi.
The case traces back to July 30, 2014, when a minor dispute escalated into a fatal attack. Vineet, a resident of Najafgarh, accidentally spilled water from a submersible pump onto a neighbour's side, prompting Parveen alias Preeti to confront him.
