Patna, Dec. 22 -- Crime rate against women in Bihar is significantly lower than the national average, as per NCRB which revealed that Bihar recorded 37.50 crime against women against the national average of 66.20.
Director General of Police (DGP) Vinay Kumar told news persons here on Monday that the steps initiated have led to the reduction in serious crime s specially against women in the state.
He said that the positive impact of the Bihar government's concrete efforts to establish the rule of law has begun to show, with a notable reduction in serious crimes this year compared to previous years.
