Hyderabad, March 30 -- Terming food adulteration as a "silent and deadly attack" on households, authorities in Hyderabad have intensified action against those endangering public health through unsafe food practices.
Highlighting the seriousness of the issue, Hyderabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar, in a post on social media platform X, noted that commonly used items-from biscuits and ice creams consumed by children to everyday essentials like milk, curd, tea powder, and ginger-garlic paste-are increasingly being targeted by adulterators, posing a major health risk.
