Patna, Aug. 6 -- The Bihar Police has launched a sweeping campaign against criminals who have amassed vast wealth through illegal means and has initiated the process of seizing their properties.
Speaking on the development, Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Kundan Krishnan said here today that the police administration has identified 1,300 hardened criminals from across all 38 districts who have accumulated property through unlawful activities. After verifying the details at the district level, the seizure process was being carried out with court approval. Detailed asset records were being submitted to the judiciary, and seizure is ordered upon confirmation.
