Imphal, Oct. 5 -- Manipur Police and Security Forces have recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition and arrested several active cadres of proscribed outfits during a series of coordinated operations across different parts of Manipur.
Police said a major recovery was made yesterday from the Kanglatombi area under Sekmai Police Station, Imphal West district, where Security Forces seized a wide range of weapons and tactical equipment.
The recovered items include a 9 mm Carbine Sub Machine Gun with a magazine, a .303 rifle, a 9 mm pistol with three rounds, a .32 pistol, seven locally made bolt-action single barrel guns, a single barrel gun, three BAOFENG hand-held sets, ten rounds of .303 ammunition, six barrel cartridges, a BP Patka,...
