Shimla, June 10 -- A team of scientists from the Central Potato Research Institute (CPRI), Shimla, visited three villages under the Tutu development block on June 8 and 9, as part of the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan.

The initiative aims to connect farmers with modern agricultural techniques and government welfare schemes.

The CPRI scientists interacted directly with farmers in Ganyog Nehra, Mulberi Devnagar, and Pahal villages, offering them tailored guidance on sustainable and profitable farming practices.

They highlighted the importance of natural farming and advised limiting the use of chemical fertilizers to preserve soil health.
