Thiruvananthapuram, June 6 -- Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly VD Satheesan alleged that the CPM-led Left Government is opposing a probe by the Public Accountants Committee (PAC) into the collapses of NH-66 in the State.
The Opposition leader also questioned the silence of the CPM Government towards the demand of a PAC probe into the collapse of the under construction NH-66 at 3 places including Kooriyad, Thalapara and Kanhangad in Malappuram and Kasargod districts.
He also asked why the Kerala Government is opposing a PAC probe led by AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal into the NH collapses.
With over 150 cracks and major damages, construction defects are undeniable, he said on Friday.
