Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 28 -- A dispute over office space has emerged at the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation building at Sasthamangalam, involving Vattiyoorkavu MLA and CPM leader V.K. Prasanth and BJP councillor R. Sreelekha, a former Director General of Police (DGP).
The controversy arose after Sreelekha (Rtd IPS) reportedly requested the MLA to vacate the office room he has been occupying in the Corporation building, stating that she required the space to carry out her duties as a councillor. According to Prasanth, she conveyed the request over the phone.
Reacting to the development, Prasanth said he could not vacate the office based solely on a telephonic request.
